Brave Csala

  This Csala of whom the rock was named 

was a famous brave at the time when the 

Tartars invaded every territory in the 

regions. But, everything in vain, cause the 

Tartars were way too many, and the handful 

Széklers couldn't fight against them. So, as 

at every dangerous times for trench Csala 

also lead them to the Almási cave. But the 

Tartars went right after them, and decided 

to block the cave's entrance and wait there 

till the Széklers get starved and will come 

out. However the Széklers brought 

whatever they could with them to be able to 

survive as long as it is possible. They lived 

as they could, in restrain, but one day their 

food got consumed, and they ended up with 

a cup of flour. But the Tartars didn't have

that much food either, because they already

consumed everything from the regions, 

and they already thought of going away.

Somehow an old lady detected the 

Tartars plans, and what she thought or 

not, she mingled the cup flour to the fire 

ashes, then she knead it as they would 

do when they normally bake a bread, 

and she baked a huge bread as a 

dray-wheel. She baked the ashen bread 

really good and red so as it looked like 

a real bread, then she prick the longest 

sword in it, hung it out at the entrance 

of the cave and swirled it so as the 

Tartars to see that they still have plenty 

of food to live on for. And what 

happened, the old lady was right. As 

soon as the Tartars observed the bread, 

they thought they better move along, 

cause there is no way to starve these 

people. And so they did, and for as far
