         Izabella (1519-1559)

  She was the daughter of the Polish king 

Jagelló Zsigmond, and from 1539 wife of 

Szapolyai, János (King of Hungary János 

the 1st). 

  In the year of 1540 her husband dies, 

and she becomes her child's, the later 

Transylvanian count's, János Zsigmond's, 

tutelage. She governs the remained  

country with the help and support of 

several counts, after that in 1541 

Buda (Hungary) become under Turk rules.

First she moves to Lippa, with all her yard,

then to Gyulafehérvár, and rules with the 

Turks support. 

  In the year of 1551 Martinuzzi György 

convinces her as to resign, in the fallen 

apart country's reuniting, for the
