princely printing house at
Gyulafehérvár, and
transformed the capitol
into a very
important political and cultural
center.
In 1626 get
married for the second time

Brandeburgi Katalin,
and soon made his
wife his successor.
He followed diplomatic
directions with his wife, too - to win
England, Holland and
Denmark's alliances

gain Hungary's
independency and unity,
but unfortunately

Principality - power wasn't
enough even with
the great count Bethlen
Gábor's major
efforts. However thanks to
his personality and
wisdom Transylvania
gains a very
important role in Europe's
politics.
Because of
his illness he begun to write
his political
testament, and after a few days
of
finishing it dies, only at his 49th. years
Transylvania's
greatest count: "Bethlen
Gábor."
