policy supported the Valachian
and Moldavian

Justice of the Peace
of the Two. He stood
as friend of Turks all
his time of ruling,
and followed Bethlen G.'s
example, that allied with the Habsburgs
enemies (France and Sweden),
and fought
in the 30 year war.
In the, with Habsburgs
made peace treaty,
at Linz, assured the
Eastern Hungarian
counties annexation to Transylvania, and the free practicing of
the
religion of the
Hungarian Protestants.
At the and of
his rulings he tries to assure
for himself and/or
his family the throne of
Poland. Thanks to Rákoczi
Gy. the 1st.'s
military, politic
and diplomatic efforts,
Transylvania gets
included into the 30 years
war closing peace
treaty. Still alive, he
already chooses as
his successor, his older
son.
